It’s been a month since the first issue of Myrtis’ newsletter and there has been a lot of activity

magna_logo_sOn Wednesday 8/12-2010 there opened an art exhibition in “Magna Gallery” with paintings and sculptures of 30 Greek artists, who kindly offered their work to support our research program “Myrtis: Face to Face with the Past”, still in progress at the University of Athens.

The artists who participated in the exhibition are alphabetically: O. Aggelidou, P. Aggelidis, V. Apostolou, N. Zografina, K. Vagia, S. Vamvakari, G. Georgopoulos, A. Grigora, M. Grigoriadis, M. Kalopasta, A. Koustas, M. Madenis, P. Manavi, K. Marouda, I. Masteropoulos, J. Mitrakas, D. Mitaras, X. Xenos, E. Platanioti, E. Soutoglou, A. Spiliotopoulos, K. Spiriounis, M. Stavridou, J. Stavrou, G. Steris, P. Tzanoulinos, L. Tsilaga, I. Frangouli, and six children’s paintings with the theme “Myrtis”.

eam_logo_sAfter the big success of the exhibition “Myrtis: Face to Face with the Past” on the N.A.M. of Athens and the impressive turn-out of elementary schools which attended the educational program that was organized especially for Myrtis, the exhibition was extended to the end of December 2010..

 

daa_logo_sThe photography-exhibition at the International Airport “El. Venizelos” was also extented to the 15th January 2011.

 

 

amth_logo_sThe next stop-over of the exhibition “Myrtis: Face to Face with the Past” will be the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, starting 14th January 2011 until 13th March 2011.
